Our first very first EP!
Please enjoy our free album that we recorded our selves in a dark and damp basement in the winter of 2010/11.

Liner Notes:
In the coldest month of the year (when they could find time) Labour Day took it upon themselves to record, mix and produce their first foray into the world of music. Those aforementioned things all happened in a place just west of Toronto known to few as Mississauga, and to even fewer as a wood paneled basement and a beer soaked carpet. The hours of labour which went into this recording would have amounted to days. By listening to this album, you have unintentionally wandered into The Indie Rock Gulag. Although your stay may be short, the horrific sounds of a triple guitar assault and a most vile rhythm section will haunt every moment of your conscious and subconscious being. That is Labour Day's gift to you.
1) Sib Flea
2) This World
3) Great Expectations
4) Not Only Broke but Broken Hearted
5) The City
Thanks to the Vaccarello and Vella family for putting up with the noise and drunken antics.
Labour Day is Labour Day.
Recorded by Philip James and Daniel Vella, mixed by Philip James in the basement through January 2011.

In keeping with the trend of bands having blogs, we thought it would be nice to have one ourselves. Enjoy what(?) we post!
